St. John is one of the parishes of Grenada, with Gouyave as its capital. Fishing is the primary industry in the area. Gouyave is also home to Grenada's largest nutmeg factory and the Dougladston Estate, an old spice plantation. The parish features some hotels and a few small guesthouses, including the Mango Bay Cottages in Woodford.
